Strong interest in human resources, recruitment, and people management. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and email communication. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Professional attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be trustworthy and able to handle confidential information. Previous HR or administrative experience is an advantage but not compulsory. StopGap Consulting is seeking a motivated, organised, and people-focused HR Intern to support our human resources, recruitment, and workforce operations.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, communicate professionally, handle confidential information responsibly, and assist with day-to-day HR and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vacancy posting, candidate sourcing, and CV screening.
- Support interview scheduling and communication with applicants.
- Maintain accurate employee and candidate records.
- Assist with onboarding documentation and staff file management.
- Help prepare HR letters, reports, forms, and internal documents.
- Support attendance tracking and other basic HR administrative duties.
- Assist with employee engagement, training, and performance-related activities.
- Respond to basic enquiries from candidates and employees professionally.
- Conduct research on HR trends, labour practices, and workplace policies.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the HR supervisor.
